Equine-Assisted Group Therapy
Equine-assisted group therapy offers a unique, experiential approach to personal growth and healing by incorporating horses into the therapeutic process. In a supportive group setting, participants engage in guided activities with horses that naturally promote awareness, communication, trust, and emotional regulation. Because horses are highly sensitive to human emotions and body language, they provide immediate, honest feedback that helps participants better understand their own patterns, reactions, and relationships with others. Working alongside the horses allows individuals to practice new ways of coping, connecting, and responding in a calm, non-judgmental environment.
Our program is offered as an 8-week equine-assisted group therapy series, designed to build insight and progress over time. Each weekly session introduces meaningful interactions with the horses and reflective group discussion led by trained facilitators. As participants move through the series together, they often experience reduced stress, improved self-awareness, stronger interpersonal skills, and a deeper sense of balance and resilience - all through the powerful, grounding presence of the horse.

For ages 20 & Up
This 8-week Equine-assisted Group Therapy series explores how the natural dynamics of the herd and the unique connection between humans and horses can help strengthen your sense of self, ease stress, and guide you toward greater balance in daily life. Through guided, hands-on experiences with the horses and reflective group discussion, participants gain insight into patterns of communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. The horses’ intuitive and non-judgmental presence creates a powerful learning environment where participants can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and practice new ways of relating to both themselves and others.

This 8-week Equine-assisted Group Therapy series uses the power of the horse to help young participants build self-confidence, strengthen peer relationships, and learn to face fears in a safe and supportive environment. Through guided activities with the horses and age-appropriate group discussions, children practice communication, teamwork, emotional awareness, and problem-solving skills. Horses naturally respond to human emotions and behavior, providing immediate, nonjudgmental feedback that helps children better understand themselves and how they interact with others. This unique hands-on experience encourages confidence, resilience, and positive social connections while allowing children to grow, learn, and have fun alongside their peers.
